License Ship Riders

Our Ship Riders are well trained licensed engineers. Their primary task is to work aboard deployed Littoral Combat Ships—in port and at sea. Ship Riders perform the duty of senior hull mechanical and electrical (HM&E) technical advisors for the ship’s force.

Our Ship Rider's primary responsibilities consist of training the crew on main propulsion, auxiliary plant operation and deck equipment operations. They also perform preventative maintenance and emergent repairs as directed by the ship’s force commanding officer. Our main mission is to assist the ship's crew with diagnosing engineering systems and automation deficiencies.
